Award winning Beechgrove Bed & Breakfast is a welcoming Victorian family home set in an elevated position near the centre of Launceston. Close to the A30, it offers superb B & B accommodation within a five minute walk of the historic town centre. Our aim is to offer you Bed & Breakfast of hotel standard so that you can relax in spacious and peaceful surroundings and enjoy your stay, whether a brief business trip or a family Summer break, a Winter walking weekend, or a Spring tour of the great gardens of Cornwall.

We offer a spacious, flexible suite, comprising a large double/triple room with flat screen TV. A small adjoining single bedroom ensures privacy for a friend, relative or child within the suite. There is also a private sitting room, which has flat screen TV, a fridge stocked with fresh milk and bottled local water, freshly baked biscuits and plenty of room for your own items. Wine glasses and corkscrew, unlimited tea, coffee and hot chocolate are provided. The luxurious bathroom offers a large bath or shower, luxury toiletries and fluffy towels. From a single adult to a family of four with baby, we can adapt to your needs. Main rooms have views across to Bodmin Moor, and we are happy to provide high chair, cot, bath toys and toiletries for babies and children on request. We also now offer free WiFi for the business traveller.

A delicious 3 course home cooked evening meal is available to order using local seasonal ingredients wherever possible. We even have our own allotment providing some of the vegetable dishes and soups our guests enjoy. Our full English Breakfast starts with a choice of fruit, cereal, yoghurt and juices, proceeds to quality bacon, Cornish sausages, free range eggs with mushrooms, beans and tomato if required, and ends with home made bread and preserves, a wide range of teas, or unlimited filter coffee.

Whether you are looking for an overnight stay, a romantic weekend or a full week of exploring Cornwall and Devon with the family, we offer local knowledge of great walks, beautiful beaches and good pubs , an enthusiasm for the area and a visit tailored to your needs. We are available to help you plan your day, and there are local magazines and guide books available to help you make the most of your time in Cornwall. When possible we try to provide any vegetarian or other diet options if informed in advance.

Launceston sits high up between Bodmin Moor and Dartmoor almost on the border of Devon and North Cornwall, so is an ideal starting point for exploring the area, and is within easy reach of The Eden Project, Plymouth, Exeter, Tavistock, Liskeard and Truro as well as many areas of outstanding natural beauty and world famous coastline and beaches.
