Dorset Farm is set in a picturesque rural location approximately 5 miles north of the historic town of Launceston.
We are proud to offer three rooms each with en suite facilities and superb views across our lovely countryside. Our superior room has a Victorian feel to it with a lovely bath to soak away the cares of the day. There is also freeview TV in each room.
The accommodation is situated in a traditional farmhouse, on a working farm, and offers guests many facilities, including separate lounge, conservatory and garden for guests use.
We have acres of space stretching right down to the River Tamar where you are free to wander at your leisure. In our woods you will discover signs of days gone by in the old Launceston to Bude canal along with a wide variety of wildlife. You can watch from the comfort of our newly installed hide with its extensive views over woods and river. While you are enjoying your stay with us at Dorset Farm there are lots of things you can do without having to get into the car and drive miles and miles.
We can offer walking - we have several farm walks we can give you, fishing, painting and sketching, photography, cycling, just sitting and dreaming, bird watching, reading and more.
We have our own hide which you are free to use to perhaps spot deer, squirrels, birds, foxes and lots more.
Dorset Farm lies just on the border with Devon and is the perfect location from which to explore both the local areas of Cornwall and Devon, coasts with dramatic scenery or miles of sandy beaches, gardens, historic properties and an array of fascinating attractions to discover.
We are open all year round so why not think about out of season stays - they’re cheaper and for wildlife lovers there’s more chance to see the flora and fauna.
