Hampton Manor is a small Country House Hotel and Conference Centre, set in 2.5 acres of gardens and grounds in the tranquil countryside of the Tamar Valley which borders Devon and Cornwall.
The north and south coasts with their distinctly different coastlines, are only 1/2 hour away, as are Dartmoor and Bodmin Moor. Within a 3/4 hour radius is the historic City of Plymouth, the Eden Project and many other gardens and attraction, however many of our guests prefer the pleasures of more local walks, fishing, golf or horse riding. Even more sedate pastimes can be enjoyed from a comfortable chair in the summerhouse or the conservatory - or in front of an open fire in our guest lounge.
Our licensed restaurant offers a varied menu of fine foods for lunch and diner and most dietary requirements can be creatively catered for. The spacious and tastefully decorated bedrooms all have high quality posture-sprung beds, with superking doubles or twin divans and extra beds or cots are available for small children. Televisions and video's are also available if requested. A specially allocated ground floor ensuite bedroom is available for wheel-chair users. We are a non-smoking establishment and regret also that we cannot accommodate pets, although nearby kennels can be rcommended.
Our small conference room has catered for groups of 50+, though for comfort and space we recommend no more than 40 people. During the holiday season, this is an ideal place for indoor games such as Table Tennis, Snooker and Pool.
We offer varying discounts for group bookings (minimum six people) or for short breaks and longer stays. Brochures and tariffs are available on request.
