Lawrence House, Launceston, is a fine Georgian house built in 1753, located in a street which John Betjeman described as ‘having the most perfect collection of 18th Century town houses in Cornwall’. It is owned by the National Trust and leased to Launceston Town Council, who use it to house the town museum.

It features local history, Launceston at war, a scale model of the old Southern Railway Station, the Mayor's Parlour, a toy room, a costume collection,a polyphon and a room dedicated to famous Launcestonians: John Couch Adams, Philip Gidley King, William Wise and Charles Causley and much more
