Lakeside Gallery was established in 1989 by Roger & Linda Garland primarily to exhibit their own work, but also to promote book illustrations as a art form and to make this accessible to a wider audience.

The Gallery is easy to find, 4 miles south of Launceston on the A388 near the village of Treburley.

The gallery which is in  a converted barn set in glorious rural surroundings, with an ornamental lake to the left of the drive entrance. There is adequate parking space for visitors

The Lakeside Gallery has gained a reputation for showing quality artwork and features work by both artists.

Current commissioned illustration projects can be seen on exhibition together with private works, limited edition prints, drawings and etchings, all work is for sale.

Permanently on show is The Tolkien Collection, over 70 paintings and drawings commissioned by the original publishers for many of J R R Tolkien's books.

The Lakeside Gallery is open all year round from 10am to 5pm daily.
