Family Days Out

Launceston is the right place for a great family day, a castle to explore, a child friendly, free, museum to visit and a steam train ride out in the beautiful countryside to New Mills where the farm park attraction.

Nature lovers will want to head to the otter sanctuary where small animals and birds roam in the woodland walks. Time your visit right and see the otters being fed.

Trethorne has indoor and outdoor play area, ten pin bowling and farm animals plus lots more. Just arund the corner is Hidden Valley where nothing in the mysterious mansion is as it seems...but we don't want to spoil your fun, so go and visit you won't be disappointed.

With so many events taking place around the area during the year the family will never be bored. Think music, food, crafts, films, entertainment, the list is endless, there's something for everyone to do.

There are plenty of free things to do, kids love a walk, especially if there are puddles waiting to be jumped and styles to clamber over. The nearby moors are just the place to enjoy a picnic, go for a walk and let of steam.
