Situated in a cobbled courtyard on a small working farm, which has been in the family for five generations, it commands splendid, panoramic views over the Ottery Valley.
Visitors can enjoy the freedom to roam the surrounding countryside with walks along our lanes to the river and woodlands, taking in the abundance of wildlife. The lucky ones might even spot an otter, a dazzling kingfisher or a magnificent deer.
A stay at Cullacott is a unique experience, combining tranquillity with a deep sense of history.
The Holiday Cottages
The house has been divided into two holiday homes, The Longhouse and Tudor Wing, but can also be booked as a whole property, accommodating groups of 10-12 people.
The Longhouse Sleeps 6/7 guests and contains the medieval great hall, snug parlour and low-beamed kitchen. Two separate staircases lead upstairs to the wood floored bedrooms, the shower room and bathroom.
The Tudor wing sleeps 4/5 guests in 2 large airy bedrooms reached by a slate turret staircase. The bathroom is downstairs as is the craftsman built kitchen and beautiful large parlour.
Cullacott is child friendly, has a large enclosed garden, a cot and highchair and stairs with doors top and bottom
Well behaved dogs accepted - maximum of 2 per holiday cottage. Charged at £10 per dog per week. They must not be left unattended in the property at any time.
