Launceston and the surrounding area has a small selection of quality graded hotels A hotel must have a minimum of 6 bedrooms, be licensed and offer dinner (unless suitable for Metro Hotel category). All bedrooms must be ensuite or have a private bathroom.

Under the star rating scheme and on this website only properties that are graded as a hotel can call themselves a hotel in their title and website description.
