Rural shows and fairs, crafts, music, heritage and countryside events together with the speciality markets held in the historic town square, all provide the visitor with a unique experience of life in the Launceston area.

The annual Steam and Vintage Rally now held over three days is a wonderful place to visit; with vehicles and engines from a bygone era, its funfair and many other exhibits all combining to provide a great day out for all the family or the steam and vintage enthusiast!

The Tamar Valley (an area of outstanding natural beauty) has many events; some held in historic houses and grounds, guided walks, bug hunts for children to name but a few things to do during your visit to this diverse area.
