Set at the end of a private lane, Drover's Cottage is delightful; a recently refurbished cottage in a perfect get-away from it all location not far from Dartmoor.
Accommodating up to 4 guests (and a cot) in two bedrooms, the cottage is a peaceful haven, a wonderful place to stay at any time of the year. The spacious open plan ground floor accommodation has a wood burner, great for cosy evenings,, and plenty of space for a family to relax in. The bathroom has a bath with a separate shower, while the bedrooms have zip and link beds providing king size or twin beds. Young guests are very welcome at Drover's Cottage, there is a high chair, travel cot and stair gate to make life easier, no need to load the car with lot's of equipment.
Dogs are welcome at Drover's Cottage, although due to livestock in the area dogs must be kept on a lead. A short drive away is the Tamar Trails, offering cycling and endless walking paths most are suitable for exploring with dogs. Further afield there are historic houses, stunning gardens and a host of attractions and activities to experience throughout the year. The nearby Tamar Valley is an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, a special breath-taking landscape waiting to be discovered and experienced through the seasons.
Guests at Drover's Cottage will discover this holiday accommodation and it's stunning location is well placed to explore the north and south coasts of Cornwall and Devon.
When it's time to return to the cottage, a BBQ on the patio overlooking a secluded valley will recharge batteries. The cottage Owner is happy to sell seasonal local produce, including eggs, meat and fresh vegetables, please ask the Owner, who lives nearby.
